Interaction with guests

We aim to be home for changeover days to provide keys and information. We are also on hand if requested to provide breakfast packs, locally sourced veg boxes and home cooked ready meals.

The neighbourhood

The small holding is situated on our 17th century farm on the moor between Todmorden and Hebden Bridge, we are 10 minutes drive from the pennine way and are happy to offer a pick up and drop off service for walkers for a small charge on request (please message us when booking). We are adjacent to the Mary Townley Loop and the Burnley way. Pendle Hill is approximately 6 miles away and there are lots of interesting shorter walks in the vicinity. We can provide you with contacts for local guides for both walks and mountain biking. We can also offer clay pigeon shooting through the South Penine Shooting School.

Getting around

We are close to the Pennine Way, and can provide pick up / drop off for walkers on request. We are also ideally situated for cyclists.

Other things to note

Whilst we welcome dogs as part of the groups staying with us we do require them to be kept on a lead at all times when on the farm The TV in the property is limited to DVD use only, and there is no mobile signal or wifi inside the barn due to our location, although 4G signal is available just a short walk outside. Guests are welcome to use our landline in an emergency.
