Stiperden Bunkhouse Barn

Situated on our moorland small holding between Hebden Bridge and Todmorden the Bunkhouse sleeps up to 8 people. Great for walkers and cyclists the self contained space includes: log burning stove, electric heaters powered by our own wind and water turbines, DVD player, shower, separate toilet, kitchen and laundry facilities. Breakfast packs from our produce and locally sourced provisions are available to order. Mountain bikes can be locked in our secure barn. Dogs and children welcome. Price based on 4 people sharing; extra guests £17pp.

The Facilities

The barn is attached to our smallholding property and is self-contained with its own entrance. Parking for multiple cars is available immediately outside.

The accommodation has two double sofa beds, and four single camp beds which can be folded up when not in use to provide more space.

Breakfast packs containing our own produce are available to purchase including sausages and bacon from our rare bread pigs. A selection of local produce is available to order in advance of your visit including pre-prepared meals, home baked bread and speciality cheeses.

A washing machine and tumble dryer are provided for guest use and we include washing tablets. Towels and pillows are provided, but please bring your own sleeping bags/bedding.

We provide a starter pack of, kindling and logs for the fire which is usually enough for one night, additional fuel is available to buy.

We welcome dogs as part of the groups staying with us but we do require them to be kept on a lead at all times when on the farm.

The TV in the property is limited to DVD use only, and there is no mobile signal or wifi inside the barn due to our location, although 4G signal is available just a short walk outside. Guests are welcome to use our landline in an emergency.

The Neighbourhood

We are located on the edge of Stiperden Moor, there are some great local walks on the doorstep (We are adjacent to the Mary Townley Loop and the Burnley way) and plenty more a short drive away around the Hebden Bridge and Todmorden areas including part of the Pennine Way.

The area has a rich and diverse history notable places to visit are Hebden Bridge, Heptonstall, The Gaddings Dam.. and Pendle Hill.

There are some great places to eat nearby including Ninos Itialian restaurant and the dog friendly kettledrum Inn. Hebden bridge and Todmorden offer a wide range of eateries.
